Itinerary

Haridwar is one of the seven most holy places for Hindus. On the first day, you will meet our representative in Haridwar and commence your journey to Barkot. It is a town almost untouched by the tourists. Set on the banks of Yamuna River, this gem of a place has one of the best-kept secrets of Indian mythology. En-route, you will visit the queen of hills- Mussoorie. It is post-card pretty with its beautiful tree-covered hills overlooking the Doon valley. Visit the Mussorie Lake and see the vista of emerald waters being surrounded by green forest terrains from all sides. It is an ideal spot for spending moments of repose with your friends and family. Next, visit Kempty Falls, which is a popular tourist attraction. It offers a stunning view of water stream cascading from a great height. You can also shop for trinkets at the tourist shops and devour local food. Continue your journey to Barkot. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and spend the overnight here.
Have a filling early morning breakfast and energise yourself for an eventful day. Day 2 of your spiritual holiday will require you to drive to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti from where you will begin your trek to Yamunotri. You can choose to reach Yamunotri either by walk, ride on a horse back or also go by a Doli at your own cost. Upon reaching atop, take a dip in the Surya Kund, before entering the temple. There are several thermal springs near the temple the flows into numerous pools but Surya Kund is the most popular one. Then, head to worship the Divya Shia- a rock pillar before just entering the temple. Finally, visit the Yamunotri Temple which was built in the 19th century. Situated amidst the Garhwal Himalayas, the temple is encircled by the lofty peaks. According to the elders, you must take a dip in the thermal springs as it secures a painless death to the devotee. After this interesting day, you may return back to your hotel in Barkot for a warm dinner and retire for the night.
Begin the third day of this package with wholesome breakfast and check out from the hotel in Barkot. Start your tour to the beautiful destination of Uttarkashi. It is home to surreal beauty and also a number of ashrams and temples. Make a quick halt on your way to visit Shiv gufa. First spotted in 1998, the cave has ever since remained the centre of faith of the devotees. The water that falls on top of it continuously is miraculously natural. Upon arrival in Uttarkashi, check in at the hotel and head out to visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple. A manifestation of Lord Shiva, the idol at this temple is a jyotirlinga, one of the only 12 in India. The aarti held at this temple is something you cannot miss out on. It is the most majestic experiences you can have on the trip. End your day with a lip-smacking dinner and head back to your accommodation to rest.
On this day of your Char Dham spiritual tour package, start the day early with scrumptious breakfast and leave for a day’s excursion to Gangotri. The first stop you will make is to take a holy dip in Garam Kund. It is said to also have medicinal properties to cure skin related ailments. Then, continue your drive to Gangotri via the beautiful Harsil Valley. Located on the banks of Bhagirathi River, the winding mountain roads will leave you wanting for more. On arrival at Shree Gangotri, take yet another holy dip in the sacred river Ganges. Visit the Gangotri Temple that was built in the 18th Century. The river Ganga originates from the Gangotri glacier and this is the highest temple of Goddess Ganga. The maximum temperature even during peak summer is 20 degrees so make sure you are carrying warm clothes. Next, explore the nearby surroundings on foot, bathe in the serenity of the area and head back to Uttarkashi to spend the night peacefully.
Start your day early with breakfast and finish the check-out procedures at the hotel. Hop in your car and soak in the majestic views of the mountains and Deodar trees as you make your way to Guptkashi. The temple town of Guptakashi is perched at an elevation of 1319 m. The snow-covered peaks of Chaukhamba mountains make for a mesmerising backdrop. The road journey is extremely scenic with the rivers Mandakini at Tilwara flowing alongside. Upon arrival, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the idol is half man and half women representing Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Then, arrive at the hotel, check in and spend the overnight comfortably.
You will need all your energies today to make it to Kedarnath and explore the serenity there. So, start your day with a healthy breakfast and then meet with our representative. He will drop you at Sonprayag. From here, you can take a local jeep that will take you to Gaurikund. Upon reaching there, you can choose to either trek or opt for a horse ride. There are also helicopter rides available that you can pre-book. The Kedarnath temple lies amidst the breath-taking peaks of Himalayas. It is home to Lord Shiva’s highest of the twelve Jyotirlingas of in India. Millions of pilgrims from all walks of life come to pay their homage here. After seeking blessings at the temple, you can choose to explore the surrounding areas. In the evening, start your trek back to Gaurikund. Head to Sonprayag and our representative will drop you back to the hotel in Guptkashi. Enjoy a warm dinner meal and give your body the desired rest after such an eventful day.
After a lip-smacking breakfast on this day of your spiritual India tour package, check out from the hotel and proceed towards next stop- Badrinath. The journey is very calming and scenic and the route takes you through dense forestlands with beautiful river flowing alongside. Upon arrival in Badrinath, check-in at the hotel, get fresh and head out to explore. Start by having a bath in the Tapt kund. It is a hot water sulphur spring known to have medicinal properties. It is miraculous since the water at Alaknanda River flowing by is too cold. Next, visit the Badri Vishal temple. It stands proud owing to its rich past and a black stone idol sits in a meditative pose. The temple is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots in our country. Head to see some more interesting sightseeing spots nearby such as the Mana village and Vyas Gufa. Mana village is the last Indian village before the India Tibet border. Vyas Gufa is where the sage Vyas composed the Mahabharata epic with the help of Lord Ganesha. Lastly, visit Vasundhara falls, cascading from more than 300 ft height. It is one of the most enchanting places in Badrinath. After savouring the sights of the splendid temple and surrounding areas, return to your hotel in Badrinath. Enjoy your dinner and have a relaxed overnight stay.
Start off the day with a hearty breakfast and check out from the hotel in Badrinath. Get ready to explore the beautiful roads that will take you to Rudraprayag. It is a scenic Hindu holy town where the days are pleasantly cool throughout the year. You will have to cross the small settlement of Joshimath, which is situated on the slopes above the confluence of the rivers Dhauliganga and Alaknanda. Visit the Narsingh Temple, where the deity of the temple is presumed to be the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It provides mesmerising views of the surrounding areas. Post this exhilarating experience, you continue your journey to Rudraprayag. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel for a lovely dinner and a good night’s rest.
Today is the last day of your Char Dham travel package from Haridwar, but keep up your excitement. It is a fun-filled day. Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and commence your road journey to Haridwar. On your way, you will halt at the stunning settlement of Rishikesh. It is known for its ancient temples, adventure activities and popular cafes. Visit the many famous temples of Rishikesh such as the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, Bharat Mandir, Kunjapuri Devi Temple, etc. You can offer the pious Ganga waters to the idols as an offering. Then, head to see the great Lakshman and Ram Juhla. It is believed that Lord Lakshman had crossed the river Ganga at this very site where the bridge now stands. After exploring this mystic town, head to Haridwar where you will be dropped off. The tour ends here with some amazing memories that you will cherish for a lifetime.
